DAN ADAMS

Dan Adams is an award-winning screenwriter and director known for his dynamic storytelling and cross-platform content creation. Born and raised in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey, as one of nine children, Adams developed a strong creative foundation that would shape his career in visual media.
 
He began honing his skills in the early 2000s while working in the video production and promotions department at Atlantic Records, where he gained hands-on experience producing compelling visual content in the music industry. In 2006, Adams transitioned into film and television, founding his own production company, Dan Adams Films LLC—now operating as Dan Adams Network.
 
Over the course of his career, Adams has directed a diverse portfolio of work, including short films, documentaries, docuseries, web series, music videos, and industrial projects. His content has achieved wide distribution across major platforms and networks, including Amazon Prime, CBS, BET, Aspire TV, VH1, and TV One.
 
Adams draws creative inspiration from acclaimed filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino, and David Fincher, blending cinematic storytelling with a distinct and contemporary voice. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts from New Jersey City University (2010) and an Associate degree in Music Business from The Art Institute of Philadelphia (1998). Adams is an active member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA), Film Fatales, and the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA).
